Scope and Contents From the Series: Archival materials donated by Austin, Texas based author, music journalist and Grammy nominee, Michael Corcoran. After moving to Texas in 1984, Corcoran worked as the country music critic for the Dallas Morning News. In 1994, he became the pop music critic for the Dallas Morning News until his move to Austin in 1995. Included in this donation are over 200 audiocassettes that contain interviews with legendary musicians about Townes Van Zandt.
